This website is the main website of Animal Aid. It contains lots of useful information for all ages and is well illustrated throughout. There are graphic images on some of the pages but Animal Aid runs an entirely seperate website for young people at www.youth4animals.com There is also a third Animal Aid website devoted to the short film Eat This which follows four teenagers as they uncover the secrets of the meat industry. This film may be viewed, downloaded or ordered for free on video or DVD at www.eatthis.org.uk

This website is devoted to Viva! (Vegetarians International Voice for Animals). Easy to navigate around and extremely colourful, it covers all aspects of animal rights and is highly informative. The main site is designed for adult use and contains some graphic images however there is an area specially devoted to children and teenagers. It is an excellent starting point for all ages.

Advocates for Animals is a highly active organisation currently running several successful campaigns on a range of issues and undertaking extensive undercover investigations. With easy to understand information available and a peaceful, always legal approach to campaigning, they're an ideal starting point for inexperienced activists concerned about rowdy demos.

PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is an international animal rights organisation with 'bases' in several countries. The website of PETA UK is easy to navigate around, fully multimedia and highly informative. Other PETA sites include www.peta2.com which is designed for teenagers and a website for children at www.petakids.com. The former two sites do contain some graphic images however cartoon graphics and lots of colour replace these on PETA Kids making it particularly suitable for the under 10's.
