Regional Animal Rights Links

Welcome! Animal rights organisations which I believe cater primarily for a specific area or region have been listed on this page. I have also included American organisations on this list. Organisations which I believe are national or international have been listed on the 'General Animal Rights Links' page instead. To go to that page, click here.

www.sarconline.co.uk
SARC (the Southern Animal Rights Coalition) covers Southern England. This website details all of their current campaigns, there is a shop and you can subscribe to their email newsletter service. The graphics are mostly in cartoon form and this site is suitable for children.

www.sgar.tk
South Gloucestershire Animal Rights is run by Lloyd Graham. It provides a valuable resource for all activists living in South Gloucestershire but is worth looking at even if you don't. It includes dates of forthcoming events, campaign information and links plus a message board.

www.eaarc.com
The East Anglia Animal Rights Coalition covers most of Eastern England and has links with SARC above. This website is very well designed and incredibly proffesional. It's also so packed with information I can hardly describe it. While those of you who don't live in East Anglia may not be able to attend all their events, it's an invaluable resource. The deep purple background looks really good too.

www.mercyforanimals.org
Mercy for Animals is a not-for-profit American organisation based in Chicago and Colombus. This colourful website is easy to navigate around. It details all their current campaigns, forthcoming events and ways to 'get active' and also has a shop. Though it is a brilliant site, it's understandably more geared towards activists based in America. It's also not the best choice for those who need information as their 'Get Informed' section is very detailed. Despite the accompanying pictures, there's just too much text.
